Accounting & Human Resources Clerk Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated entry-level Accounting & Human Resources Clerk to join our team. This position is perfect for individuals eager to begin their career in accounting or HR. The Accounting & Human Resources Clerk will play a key role in supporting various administrative tasks and support to ensure the seamless operation of our Accounting & HR processes. Key Responsibilities: - Accounting:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports with accuracy.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and company accounts.
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and databases.
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers and follow up on payments.
- Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks.
- Generate reports and help with month-end closing procedures.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment discrepancies.
- Human Resources:
- Support payroll processing by verifying timesheets and employee records.
- Provides support to operations on any questions relating to the HCM platform, and initial follow-up to location management on WC, GL, and workplace investigations
- Supports staffing process, including ATS and new hire onboarding.
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR policies or directs them to the appropriate person
- Special Projects:
- Collaborates with Accounting and HR department heads to support overall company goals and objectives.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Light office cleaning and organization.
- Occasional off-site errands (e.g., lunch pickup, supply runs).
Qualifications & Skills: - Associate’s degree (completed or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
